God’s Helping Hands

Neighbors caring for neighbors.

Our Mission

We prepare and provide safe and nutritious meals that are a basic right to all.

God’s Helping Hands is a volunteer-run ministry of Tipton Community Congregational Church, helping keep our neighbors fed through a food pantry and monthly home-cooked meals. With grant support and the generosity of our community, we serve Tipton and the surrounding area with kindness and without judgment.

A food pantry where you choose.

Our pantry is available by appointment throughout the week. You’re invited to shop for groceries that suit your household’s needs and preferences.

A homemade meal to take home.

Once a month, volunteers prepare a hot, made-from-scratch meal, served drive-thru style. The menu changes each month, and everyone is welcome—whether groceries are stretched thin or you’d simply appreciate a home-cooked meal. Meals are free, but donations are appreciated.

There’s a place for you here.

If you need food, we’re glad you’re here. If you’d like to help, your time, grocery donations, and financial gifts help keep this ministry going. This is community taking care of community.
